Welcome to the new era of this style XD This is what goes on in my mind when I'm suddenly hit with inspiration or something... 5 HOURS WUT IS THIS and yes... Nightpool has blue eyes. I did this because I have ble eyes and Nightpool is my fursona... idk I just like blue XD
Upon this piece of art, I'd do have to say at the start it was the eye, that caught a lot of my attention, the depth of it was really good and also, it seems like you could see into what she's thinking through her eye. I don't know, If that was intended upon the piece but that's a really good in depth on which I saw, which you should keep going on for future art work. On which you make, but the outline of the top hair could use a bit more of a lighter outline to bring it out more, and to make it "Jump outward" so to speak. Although, on the nose the shaping is a bit, out of curve. It doesn't seem to line up perfectly but I too have my flaws, upon many of my artwork so that doesn't matter unless you really look into it! Though, the background as I see here, you really took more time into with the lines and also the small shading upon the lines itself, I see that the colours shown upon the background make the picture itself shoe more. As well, add a nice soft and or dark tone upon it. Overall it's really good, and keep up the hard work!
Cheers!

So lets start~
Well first, the fur texture is pretty nice, yet the lineart doesn't seem to fit at all,
-If you use SAI,the curve tool may help,if not then i think putting the lineart in a different layer would help too,
Saying this, the Lineart of the eye also looks like you deleted it off on the same layer,so what i said above might help with that too.
second thing is that the fur on the fursona's back makes it look like the neck is longer/bigger then it should be.
-Maybe make fur lines to help see where does the back of the fursona starts, or make this tiny shape going inside to mark where the head and neck are?
well that's it!
Hope it helped~
